I am at it again- blogging in that other place. I joined up with Jen from Forever, For Always, No Matter What and Tiffany  from Family at the Foot of the Cross to share a bit about how we celebrate Easter. Here is the link to my post--  Eastertide::Celebrating the Season .   Please stop by for a visit. :) This is picture of my adorable niece, Emma- just to add cuteness to this post. ;)

Stop by...

I have a split personality. My bloggy alter ego is at Catholic Baby Steps. I blog pretty specifically about our faith adventures there. Tonight I blogged a little about my birthday. It's rare that I feel conflicted about where to blog something, but this time I do, so I am sharing here too. Stop by if you get a chance. ;) My birthday post #1 (#2 will come when I have more pictures)

Monday: Started the day by walking to mass with James. Monday is usually my day to go to mass alone, but James agreed to join me this week. It was a nice outing. It was fun walking just us- a nice time to chat. :)  Tuesday: Date night!! This doesn't look like date night, but there is a connection. My boys go to their sister's house on Tuesday- rather than dropping them off at her house, we met at the track. I walked a bit, she worked on her "couch to 5K" with the boys. I ditched pretty quickly to go home and spend time with my date. ;) Wednesday- No pictures of the first part of the day! Mass at noon. Paul to varsity volleyball. Mark, James, and I walked to In & Out Burger for lunch (no soda or fries!!:)) and then back to where Paul has volleyball to visit with other homeschool families.   Wednesday evening- Uncle Paul on duty. First he drew a flower arrangement, then a kangaroo. Once little lady found out that Uncle Paul was game to dr...

In my life this week…  It has been a busy week- dentist appt., volleyball, birthday parties, science class, life teen, junior high group, confirmation class, and it's not over yet! :) We also had a slow start to the week as the boys got home from their snow trip with their sister over the weekend. And, my boys have flag football tournaments that last ALL day on Sunday!! Fun stuff, but oh my! In our homeschool this week… We are pushing our way through the Revolutionary war. We hit so many rabbit trails along the way, our studies have been a little unfocused (for better or worse). The good news is that we are making progress.  Interactive maps are a favorite. The pieces can't always be placed in the exact location. The horse is the interactive piece that moves along the path.  Helpful homeschool hint… Just keep going... don't give up!! And pray. Praying always helps.  Places were going and people we’re seeing… ...
