Wrapping it Up::May 12, 2013
I'm going to call this "random share week". :)
First Up:
You know how when you go on a trip, everyone wants a souvenier? We try to discourage such expectations! A while back, we were on a trip and the two families that we were with were on a hunt for magnets- of the souvenier type. Apparently, they always try to pick up a magnet to add to their collection of all the places they had been. So... we joined in the fun.
And have been collecting ever since (for a little over a year). We have fun trying to find just the right magnet.
Even Erin, our oldest at home, has joined the fun. She has been having her own adventures (Colorado, D.C., LA) and brings home contributions to our travel/memory board.
The boys brought this one home- it is in the "repair shop", but it is one of my favorites.
Next Up For Random Share- Play Time:
My guys take their game of "PIG" seriously. :)
Paul takes everything seriously!
And Then Time For Fresh Air:
And Finally- A Time for celebrating:
James' birthday landed on Mother's Day.
We didn't spend much time with Grandma on Mother's Day, but popped over for a visit in the morning after mass. I am so glad I thought to take a picture!
Big Sis stopped by with her family to say "happy birthday". :)
And another big sis showing us James is not so little anymore!! (I swiped this from her F*B page)
That's it! There's more, but who has time to blog in May? First communions, confirmations, graduations, birthdays (we have like 10 in May) thrown in with just everyday life, make this one crazy month!

Yes, CRAZY MONTH, huh?? Blessings on your many celebrations! The big and the little!
ReplyDeleteBirthday wishes your way. Quentin's birthday is this Saturday. I love your magnet collection. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you back! You have had a busy month. I always enjoy your photos and I love the family shots in particular. The picture with some of the kids and Grandma are so sweet. Happy birthday to James!! May he have a year filled with abundant blessings!! Happy belated Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteI know you are super busy, but I appreciate your posts so much!
ReplyDeleteI have sworn off homeschooling blogs of women who have less children than I do and/or have been homeschooling less years than I have, so I need you experienced homeschooling Moms to keep blogging!
:)
Great magnets & fun May! You motivate me to blog again- I need to stop taking breaks & just do it!
