Really!!
It has been busy around here. When life gets like this, I try to comfort myself by saying that "things will settle down next week- or the next". Not this time. It ain't happening. That's okay. Somehow, I feel up for it. Sort of. ;)
I'll give a quick update at any rate:
True story- We were at church this Sunday. After the alter servers (about 10-12 of them) processed down the aisle, I whisper to my husband, "where is Paul?!". He starts to laugh- "that one carrying the crucifix in the center is your son". Eee gads! I really did not recognize my own son. Somehow, he also seems to have grown like 6 inches over night!

Some hair got cut.

Some adorable uncle time happened.
We fed some Koi Fish.
We added a family member of the four-footed variety to our household.
I said NEVER. Never say never. Mark met this guy 3 weeks ago at his first class at the animal shelter. This was their go-to dog for classes and school room visits. Yet he sat there with no one who wanted to take him home. I agreed to meet him... I bet you all could have figured out what was going to happen next.
We celebrated Erin!
Hopefully, I will get a picture of Erin from her sister who also took pictures. I got quite a few of the "action", but no good ones of just Erin. The only one that really showed her face is this one where she is coloring with her niece, which I think is adorable anyway.
All of us have had two very busy months, so celebrating Erin's 19th birthday and her graduation from the Salon Academy with the family was pushed way out (from August). It turned out to be a wonderful day to celebrate. Cool weather, barbecue, family, friends, visiting... It doesn't get much better.
One last one of the dog-
Erin picked up this Raiders shirt "welcome home" gift for Mark to put on his dog. Sweet!
That was a bit longer than I had planned for! Hoping to post some school action soon.
