Wrapping up LAST Week
The good news is that I have such a busy full life that finding time to blog is getting difficult. As it should be I suppose! But I do miss getting to the computer and sharing- and seeing what others are up to.
Last week ended with a special mass said for our homeschool group in honor of the end of the school year (thank you Father Mark!), and a play time at the park. I am not sure how swords and shields became a part of it, but the kids had fun.
I am not repeating myself. The week before this was Paul's last week of volleyball, but varsity had its own party this week. A good time was had by all! These kids love their volleyball and their coach who gives her time to encourage their passion.
James and Erin cookin' up something yummy. An old family recipe here- I am not sure if I have shared it before. I'll have to check. In our family, these oatmeal/chocolate/peanut butter no bake cookies have a rather unattractive name. It was bestowed upon them years ago by my daughters (little at the time) when one of them looked at the cookies and said "they taste good, but they look like p**p. ;)
A board game, Herd the Horses, played with cousins! Fun times.
Mark, who had a reaction to a bee sting while playing at the above mentioned park day, was soooo bored! Paul, thankfully, helped out by playing some games with him...
and entertaining him with some Lego skits. I am not sure that they were not a bit off color, but he sure had Mark laughing.
I laughed a little when the thought came to me that this used to be my Pinterest- books!! Go figure. ;) Only instead of "pinning" an idea, I post-it noted it. (only I say "postie" note) I still love my books.
Working on the craft cabinet- one can never have too many pipe cleaners...
or googly eyes! That is how the saying goes- right?
No wrap up would be compete without an unsolicited grandparent share!

I have been trying to tackle the school storage cabinets (again!):

or two...
or three!

You had such a fun week! Don't you just love this time of year?! The video with your grandson riding/coasting is too cute. He'll be taking off in no time at all.
ReplyDeleteMy hub makes those same cookies. We call them mud cookies! And we just love 'em!!
Those no bake cookies are dangerous, they are so delicious, I could eat the whole batch! Boys never get tired of Legos do they??!!
