In my life this week…
Monday:
Beach time!! Yes, please. :)
Tuesday:
CA Academy of Science with Mark and James.
We had early entry this day. The top right corner picture is of the Natural History hall- it was completely empty and totally reminded us of "Night in the Museum". Kind of creepy in a fun way.
The crazy picture of Mark on the top left is him looking at butterfly fluttering just to the side of his face.
We lucked in to "free" admittance day at the art museum across the way from the academy.
There was some pretty cool stuff there too!
Mark's favorite was this portrait of Washington out of dollar bills.
James and I were fascinated by the North American artifacts exhibit.
That basket in the top left picture is made out of baleen!
Another favorite of the day- we did not know that there is a viewing tower in the art museum. Entirely surrounded in floor to ceiling glass windows, we could see most of the city and even a peek at the Golden Gate Bridge.
Pictures don't do the view justice.

Wednesday:
Paul's favorite day of the year. The end of the year varsity volleyball tournament and party. It was a gorgeous day of playing in the sun, hanging out with friends, and appreciating the coach who works so hard to keep these kids playing!
Thursday:
Thursday doesn't exist because there are no pictures! I do remember that hubby and I ditched out for dinner alone together!!
Friday:
Cooling off in the evening with some of our favorite little people.

Things I’m working on…
School room organization, of course! It is that time of the year.
·
I’m cooking…
Too hot to cook, but we have been buying lots of good food at the local farmer's market.

Something I am ogling or have my eye on…
After a disappointing sprinkler purchase (for nephew's birthday party at our house this weekend), we are looking at these ideas on Pinterest for a PVC sprinkler. If we make it, I will share the results with you!
