A Brief Wrap Up

Monday- Paul's first horse lesson! I say horse lesson- not horse riding because most of the lesson right now is horse care and grooming. All the boys are over-the-top excited. We are starting off slow and hoping to add Mark on in September. Fortunately, the teacher is very sweet and allowed Mark and James to hang on her every word. She kindly says that it will help them be better prepared when it is their turn. When they were not able to be a part of the learning process, Mark and James had a great time visiting the other horses in the stable.

Tuesday- Boys pack for a suprise dad planned for them plus get caught up on much neglected laundry and house cleaning. We did run over to the pool for a few glorious minutes in the afternoon!

Wednesday- Last day of Hands On Sports. For those that don't know what Hands on Sports is, it is a twice a month PE (skills, drills, and games) program that my daugther helped start a few years ago with another teen. This year was Erin's year to run the program and also her last year to participate as she is now a homeschool grad. I know she is relieved to the obligation off her plate, but she is also sad to be done.

Thursday/Friday- THE SURPISE!! Dad swept the boys away to Yosemite. We have not been since Mark was a baby. Hearing that there is record breaking water pouring form all of the falls up there, Frank (hubby) decided that now is the time.

Horse study completion has been put off for yet another week!

Still no pictures. My camera and my computer are not on speaking terms.

  2. Yosemite! How fun! Being from Maine and so far away, we haven't been "that way" yet. We would LOVE to see all the GREAT natural "things" there!

My daughter is hoping to get to horse camp this summer at a rescue farm. They get the WHOLE experience there - including mucking out stalls! LOL

Stopping in from Forever, For Always, No Matter What!
