Senior Blogger Moment

Or, maybe it is a blogger senior moment. ;) Not sure.

At the ripe old age of 47 (yes, I am admitting it), all this technology stuff is a challenge for me. Although, I mostly love it!!

It is comical to me to think back to 5 or 6 years ago when I got my first computer- I was always in a tizzy.

I can't help but laugh at all "moments" I had. How many times I "lost" something that I had been working on for-ev-er (because it took me that long to do anything!:)).

Well, I was just complaining to my daughter that I really love this one blog, but for the life of me I can't find the button to "follow" it. My daughter said, "well, just add it".

I sat there for a moment... you mean... oh! I bet there is some way to do that from the "manage" button, isn't there? She had the courtesy not to say "no-duh".

For those moments when you do have a problem, and no lovely daughter sitting next to you, I recently learned about The Blog Guidebook blog. They have a very useful "help desk", and "blog how-tos" section. I am not sure that they cover such trivial questions as the one above, but they have some great tutorials. Plus you can find blog listings by every subject imaginable.

  1. I can totally relate. I've learned a wealth this past year since I started blogging, but having my son sit next to me is a huge help. He's a senior in HS this year, so I'm kind of on my own come next year, we'll see how I do.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. :)
