This Weeks Goals::Oct. 3-7
How Last Week Went:
Health:
Keep up no soda + cutting out more sugar in our (family) diet. Cutting back in small bits and it is working!
Kitchen:
Meal planning- complete one month plan. After weeks of having this goal--still not done.
Schoolroom:
Make schedule strip to go with the workboxes. Will need another week to finish.
Fill out our school affidavit (October 1). Thanks to Katrina at Mama Manuscripts for mentioning her school paperwork! Due the 15th.
That is a pretty pitiful week! Oh, well. Onward and upward this week:
Health:
Continue making small changes in the family diet. In addition to cutting back on sugar, we moved to organic milk last week. Next up- a change in the bread we eat. We used to buy Ezekiel bread, but when a local vendor stopped carrying it, we went back to a less healthy option. I am going to find a vendor or another option.
Kitchen:
Yes, I am going to do it again- Make a stinkin' meal plan!! :P
Schoolroom:
Just the basics this week.
Around the House: We are going to spend our time prepping for a big weekend. We have lots of plans, so we need to be prepped to go!! There will be a field trip report to go with our activities next week. :)
Put up (or at least find) some fall decorations.
*Don't forget paperwork that is due on the 15th!!*

Laurie, congratulations on winning September in There"s a Book Read to Me challenge!
ReplyDeleteLaurie, it is the small steps. The big steps can seem so overwhelming and may throw us back into the area we are trying to climb out of. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteI like that you've set goals! I think that's something I need to start doing on more of a weekly basis ;)
ReplyDeleteYou've got it right. Goals first. Then progress, however tiny. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteThose small steps/goals are a great way to make progress. My boys are spoiled on my homemade bread now, so we don't enjoy most store bought bread.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to the Wednesday Curious Hop today. I hope you'll come back next week to join us again.

I like how you've set up your goals. For different parts of your life, very good idea.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with others, steps in the right direction (even if small!) are ... "steps in the right direction" hehe.
