Week in Review::Oct. 3-7
What's working for us:
Sticking to the basics and being consistent.
We are especially working on follow through with household responsibilities (consistency),
and spelling and math (basics). Working well and new to our line up are the Calculadder drills that
I used to use with my older girls (now 28, 27, 25).
What we are enjoying:
Some time together at home! We stayed home for 3 whole days in a row, and it was really nice. The boys played together more and enjoyed hanging out more than they have since our school routine started back in full swing. Note to self- stay home more!
What we have been learning about:
Even though it was suppose to be our "summer study", we are still learning about dogs. We sort of went out of order on our Amanda Bennett unit study and are now going back and filling in the blanks (so to speak). This week we learned about the Golden Retriever.
Out of the house:
Our one big trip out of the house was to go to horse lessons after 6 weeks off.
The boys were so happy to be back!
Just for fun ('cause I am a grandma and I'm suppose to show pictures
of my grandchildren to anyone who will look! :))

I agree about staying home more, good for you to get three whole days in, I'm jealous! We are almost halfway through soccer and our pace will slow when that is finished. I love your family and that your little guys get to hang out with your big guys! Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE looking at pictures!!! Go ahead and show them off all you want. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove how you set up your reflection for the week! I need to do this:) How fun that your big boy Uncles got to have breakfast with their nephew:) Did I get that right?
