More iPod Apps

As I previously posted, I am having fun finding ways to use my iPod for school and fun.

A few more of the fun apps we are enjoying:

Life Cycles -- I love this! You can choose a life cycle and listen to each stage as it is explained (or read it yourself if you prefer).

Sums Stacker is also pretty fun by math drill standards. The player chooses what he wants to stack (numbers, dice, roman numerals), if he wants to solve or race, and easy or hard mode.

There are three stacks- the player shifts the dice (or whatever he chose) to match the number on the stack.

Hop on Pop: This can be read on "read to me" mode, "read it myself", or "auto play". I like the "read it myself" mode for early readers. They can read it, but if they come across a word like "night" that might not known right off the bat, they can tap the word and it is read for them.

  1. These all look great! I will have to check out the Hop on Pop - the book is a family fav. My dh just recently downloaded a liturgy of the hours app, it walks you through all the steps and he can listen to it while he is driving.
