The Drawing Game
So, you are eating out and it is taking for-e-ver to get your food.
With some crayons and paper, you have a fun game ready to play.
To start the game, player #1 draws a head- it can be round, square, triangle, oval...
the first drawer chooses. That player then passes the drawing to the player next his/her right.

Each player gets a chance, in turn, to add one body part or accessory
of their choosing, and then passes the drawing to the next player.
Only one part per turn- if the player makes an eye, it is just one eye.
If it is eye lashes- just one side.
The game continues until the drawing is deemed complete.

Those are our rules, you can make your own.
As part of our "family fun" week, we treated ourselves to breakfast out, and created these fantastic masterpieces while waiting for our food. ;) Meals out are a dwindling luxury around here with how much it costs, but this game can be played around the table when camping, at a picnic... anywhere you'd like.
*Adding a note/disclaimer:
I inserted the red directions clarify the (our) rules. Also, this game is similar to "Pick and Draw" (which my family loves!)-you can note the influence of that game by the shape of some of the body parts.
Oh, Lori! I just love that idea. I think...a long time ago...I had done this, but completely forgot about it. We don't go out that much either save for special occasions.
ReplyDeleteThis is just like a card game we have at home. Here's my review of it. http://ourhomeschoolreviews.blogspot.com/2010/12/pick-and-draw-review-and-giveaway.html So neat that you created your own. We love to play this together. Thanks for stopping by my weekly wrap up
